Our Story
AlSaah Tennis Academy was founded in January of 2022 by Alfred Saah Kandakai Jr. whose vision is to provide athletes with a supportive environment where they can grow not only as players but as individuals. Driven by his passion for tennis and a desire to impact young athletes positively, he established the academy to focus on skill development, confidence, and personal growth. AlSaah Tennis Academy builds champions on and off the court, fostering a strong mentality that empowers athletes to overcome adversity, no matter the circumstance.
Along with the cofounder Deneeta Kandakai, they aspire to create a community where athletes' progress is taken seriously and a high level of excellence in coaching and training is provided.
Whether it’s recreational or at the professional level, AlSaah Tennis Academy goes above and beyond in order to ensure that its athletes are reaching their maximum potential.
Coach Alfred
Head Coach and Founder
Alfred Kandakai Jr., CEO and Head Coach of AlSaah Tennis Academy, brings a rich legacy of tennis expertise and a deep passion for mentoring athletes.
Originally from Liberia, West Africa, Alfred has 18 years of tennis experience and over six years of coaching, carrying forward the knowledge he gained from competing in high-level tournaments across Europe, Africa, and North America.
Known for developing and working with top junior and collegiate players, Coach Alfred is dedicated both on and off the court. He not only trains athletes to excel in tennis but also focuses on their personal growth, resilience, and confidence.
At AlSaah Tennis Academy, he champions the belief that “your true character is revealed when pressure is applied,” inspiring his players to pursue greatness with integrity and responsibility.
